Expansion tank of the cooling system (Freelander 2)

CAUTION: When relieving the cooling system pressure, wrap the expansion tank cap with a thick cloth.

Removal

1. Tightening torque: 10 Nm



2. To minimize coolant loss, pinch the appropriate hose.

3.

CAUTION: Be prepared to collect any leaking coolant.

4.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

2. Add coolant.
