Control panel — models up to 04MY (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Follow all safety rules when working with the airbag system.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Rules for working with airbags and seat belt pretensioners.

2. Remove the control panel cover.

INSTRUMENTS, REPAIR WORK, Instrument panel cover - models up to 04MY.

3. Loosen 4 screws and remove the top cover of the control panel.



4. Unscrew the 4 screws securing the control panel to the instrument panel.



5. Disconnect the 4 connector blocks and remove the control panel.

Installation

1. Position the control panel in place and attach the pads.

2. Install the instrument panel into the control panel and secure it with screws.

3. Replace the top cover and secure it with screws.

4. Install the instrument panel cover.

5. Connect the battery terminals, negative terminal first.
