Dismantling
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the fuel pump assembly.

CAUTION: Fuel vapors are highly flammable, and they are also toxic and explosive in a confined space. When working with fuel, it is necessary to have a foam type, carbon dioxide (CO₂), gas or powder fire extinguisher on hand.
3. Disconnect the 2 Lucar pads at the top of the fuel pump.
4. Loosen the clamp securing the gauge to the fuel pump housing.
5. Remove the gauge.
Installation
1. Place the meter in the mounting socket and secure it.

CAUTION: Make sure that each of the 4 tabs on the gauge engages with the corresponding slot in the fuel pump housing.
2. Attach the Lucar shoes to the top of the fuel pump.
3. Install the fuel pump assembly.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
