Dismantling

1. Loosen the 5 screws securing the steering column boot to the instrument panel cover. Remove the boot to expose the screws.



2. Unscrew the 6 screws securing the instrument panel cover to the instrument panel.



3. Disconnect the cap from the instrument panel, disconnect the pads and remove the cap.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

4. Remove the switches and switch caps from the cap.

Installation

1. Install the switches and switch caps into the cap.

2. Install the cuff on the instrument panel cap.

3. Position the cap in place and attach the pads to the switches.

4. Install the cap and tighten the screws.

5. Install and secure the steering column cuff.
