Lever — cleaner — removal and installation (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the wiper blade.

2. Remove the spare wheel mounting bracket.

3. Lift the protective cover of the nut on the wiper arm and unscrew the nut.

4. Disconnect the washer nozzle tube and remove the wiper arm. NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to gain access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

5. Remove the washer nozzle and tube from the wiper arm.

Installation

1. Install and secure the washer nozzle and tube into the wiper arm.

2. Install the wiper arm onto the cargo door and connect the washer tube.

3. Install the wiper arm, positioning it so that the extreme point of the brush is between the seal and the cargo door. Install and tighten the wiper arm nut to 13 Nm.

4. Install the wiper blade.
