Dismantling


1. Remove the rear wiper arm.

2. Remove the protective film from the cargo door.

3. Loosen the shaft nut, remove the flat washer and discard the rubber seal.

3. Loosen the shaft nut, remove the flat washer and discard the rubber seal.


4. Disconnect the connector from the cargo door glass wiper motor.

5. Remove the 2 bolts securing the electric motor to the cargo compartment door.

6. Remove the electric motor.

NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

7. Remove and discard the wiper motor shaft seal.

8. Remove the water-reflective shield.

9. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the mounting plate to the wiper motor.

10. Disconnect the connector and remove the mounting plate.

Installation


1. Install the mounting plate, tighten the bolts and secure the connector.

2. Install the motor water shield and sealing washer onto the motor shaft.

3. Install the electric motor and tighten the bolts to 5 Nm.

4. Connect the connector to the cargo door glass wiper motor.

5. Install the NEW rubber seal onto the motor shaft.

6. Install the flat washer and tighten the shaft nut to 5 Nm.

7. Install the cargo door protective film.

8. Install the wiper arm.
