Reservoir — washer — removal and installation (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the front bumper.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Front bumper assembly - for cars up to model year 2004.

2. Install a container to collect the leaking working fluid.



3. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the filler neck and remove the filler neck.



4. Remove both washer pumps from the reservoir.

5. Remove and destroy the pump seal.

6. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the washer reservoir and remove the reservoir.

Installation

1. Install the tank and tighten the bolts.

2. Install new pump seals into the reservoir.

3. Install the pumps into the tank.

4. Install the filler neck and tighten the nuts.



5. Reinstall the front bumper.
