Removal


1. Secure the SRS system.

2. Remove both upper A-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: A-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the center A-pillar trim panels.

4. Release the front edge of both door sill trim panels.

Installation


1. Install the clamps.
2. Install the air vent duct.

3. Install the windshield heating duct.

4. Install the passenger side air vent.

5. Install the driver's side air vent.

6. Install the driver's side instrument panel trim end section.

7. Install the keyless start control module.

8. Install the keyless start control module decorative cover.

9. Install the temperature sensor in the vehicle interior.

10. Install the windshield defroster trim panel.

11. Install the glove compartment support panels.

12. Install the glove compartment lid hinges.

13. Install the glove box light.

14. Install the passenger airbag module. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

15. Install the glove compartment retainer reinforcement panel.

16. With assistance, install the upper section of the instrument panel.

17. Attach the wiring harness clamp to the upper section of the instrument panel on the passenger side.

18. Attach the 2 wiring harness clips to the windshield heating duct and connect the sun intensity sensor.

19. Using assistance, secure the top of the instrument panel.

20. Install the windshield defroster outer trim.

21. Connect the electrical connectors of the passenger airbag module.

22. Connect the electrical connector of the glove box light.

23. Secure the passenger air bag module and glove box lamp wiring harness.

24. Install the glove compartment. Refer to procedure: Glove Compartment (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

25. Install the passenger side instrument panel trim end section.

26. Secure the wiring harness support bracket.

27. Attach the wiring harness clamp to the center of the upper instrument panel section.

28. Install the climate control system unit.

29. Install the audio block.

30. Install the center speaker.

31. Install the video display. Refer to procedure: Video System Display (415-01 Infotainment System, Removal and Installation).

32. Install the floor console. Refer to procedure: Floor Console (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).

33. Install the floor console extension sections.

34. Install both instrument panel speakers.

35. Install both upper trim panels.

36. Connect the electrical connector of the interior temperature sensor.

37. Connect the keyless start module electrical connector.

38. Secure the instrument cluster wiring harness clamp.

39. Install the instrument cluster. Refer to the procedure: Instrument Cluster (413-01 Instrument Cluster, Removal and Installation).

40. Install the clock spring. Refer to procedure: Clock Spring (501-20B Secondary Restraint System, Removal and Installation).

41. Install both front door jamb trim panels. Refer to procedure: Front Door Jamb Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

42. Secure both door sill trim panels.

43. Install the center A-pillar trim panels.

44. Install the upper trim panels of both A-pillars. Refer to procedure: Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

45. Connect the ground cable to the battery. Refer to Procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

46. Return the steering column to its original position.
