Front seat belt buckle (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to procedure: Specifications (414-00 Charging System - General Information, Specifications).

2. Place the SRS system in safe mode. Refer to procedure: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering (501-20, General Procedures).

3. Remove the front seat. Refer to procedure: Front Seat (501-10 Seat, Removal and Installation).



5. Tightening torque: 40 Nm

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.
