Central electrical distribution box (Freelander 2)

CJB controls the following functions:

• sound signals
• tailgate latch motor and micro switches (including external tailgate release switch)
• switch for loosely closing the luggage compartment door
• direction indicators
• fuel tank filler flap operation

The CJB also has a connection to the Restraint Control Module (RCM) to automatically control the interior lighting and direction indicators in the event of a collision.

NOTE: If the CJB is replaced, the new module will require configuration to match the vehicle's main configuration. Configuration is performed using a Land Rover approved diagnostic system.

The CJB automatically activates and deactivates the active anti-theft system when the vehicle is locked and unlocked after successfully confirming that a valid remote control was used.
