In addition, the instrument cluster, together with the CJB, engine control module (ECM) and anti-lock brake system (ABS) module, also controls the engine immobilization. The ECM controls the engine cranking and fuel delivery functions, and the ABS module controls the tilt function. The EMS and ABS module communicate with each other after the CJB processes the information from the valid remote control.
Anti-theft system indicator
The anti-theft alarm indicator is a light emitting diode located in the instrument cluster. When the ignition is off, the indicator provides a visual indication of the active anti-theft alarm status to show whether the anti-theft alarm system is armed or not.
When the ignition is turned on, the indicator provides a visual indication of the status of the passive anti-theft system (engine immobilizer). If the immobilizer is working correctly, the LED lights up for 3 seconds when the ignition is turned on, and then goes out.
If there is a fault in the immobilizer system, the LED will either be constantly on or flashing for 60 seconds. This indicates that there is a fault and that a fault code has been registered. After 60 seconds, the LED will flash at a different frequency, which indicates the nature of the fault.

| Pos. | Spare part number | Name |
| 1 | - | Anti-theft system indicator |
The operation of the anti-theft system indicator is controlled by the instrument panel, which changes the frequency of the LED flashing, indicating the status of the alarm system and immobilizer.
| Alarm/immobilizer system status | Anti-theft indicator status | Anti-theft indicator function |
| UNSET | Doesn't blink | LED is off |
| SET (installation) - with perimeter alarm | Flashing | The LED will flash twice quickly with a large interval and repeat 10 times. Then a slow "active" flash will follow. |
| SET (installation) - with volumetric signaling | Flashing | The LED will flash quickly three times with a large interval and repeat 10 times. Then it will flash slowly "actively". |
| ACTIVE (active) | Flashing | Slow flashing after alarm activation (100ms on / 200ms off). |
| UNSET - the alarm was activated during the previous SET cycle | Flashing fast | The LED will flash rapidly until the CJB receives an accessory power mode 4 signal. |
