AM/FM tuner (Freelander 2)

The IAM has a built-in AM/FM tuner that allows you to make 30 presets in the FM range (FM1 FM2 FM a) and 20 in the AM range (10 AM & 10 AM a, for Europe 10 most powerful tinctures LW & MW will be stored in frequency order). Presets are stored in IAM and ICM memories. The radio also performs the following functions:

• Automatic tuning to the station
• Reception of traffic information (TA) - Europe only
• EON's Radio Data System (RDS) function (Radio Broadcast Data System (RBDS) in North American markets)
• Search stations
• Tuning in forward and reverse directions
• Scanning
• PTY

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with the HD Radio Receiver Module, the module replaces the AM/FM function of the IAM. The AM and FM antennas are connected directly to the HD Radio Receiver Module, not to the IAM; therefore, AM/FM functions in IAM are disabled.
