Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Disconnect the connector from the boost pressure control solenoid valve.


2. Disconnect the connector from the boost pressure control solenoid valve.

3. Label and disconnect the vacuum hoses.

4. Unscrew the vacuum receiver mounting nut and move the receiver to the side.


4. Unscrew the vacuum receiver mounting nut and move the receiver to the side.

5. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the solenoid valve and remove the valve from the bracket.


5. Unscrew the 2 nuts securing the solenoid valve and remove the valve from the bracket.



Assembly


1. Install the solenoid valve and tighten the nuts to 10 Nm.

2. Connect the vacuum hoses.

3. Connect the connector.

4. Install the vacuum receiver and tighten the nut to a torque of 10 N·m.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
