Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

GENERAL INFORMATION, Precautions when working with electrical equipment.

Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the turbocharger air inlet hose.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Td6:, REPAIR WORK, Turbocharger air intake duct.


3. Remove the 2 MAF/IAT sensor mounting bolts.


3. Remove the 2 MAF/IAT sensor mounting bolts.

4. Remove the MAF/IAT sensor and disconnect the connector.

Assembly


1. Wipe the MAF/IAT sensor and mating surfaces clean.

2. Install the MAF/IAT sensor and connect the connector.

3. Install the MAF/IAT sensor and tighten the Torx bolt to 6 N·m (4.2 lb ft).

4. Install the turbocharger air inlet hose.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Td6:, REPAIR WORK, Turbocharger air intake duct.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.

6. If a new sensor has been installed, reconfigure the control system using the TestBook/T4 device.
