Turbocharger air intake duct (Range Rover 3)

Before disconnecting the battery, make sure that all requirements and conditions contained in the section on disconnecting the battery are met.

Dismantling


1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the upper engine cover.

TD6 ENGINE, REPAIR WORK, Upper engine casing.


3. Disconnect the air intake duct from the air filter housing and secure it to the side.

4. Release the vacuum hoses from the clamps on the air duct.


4. Release the vacuum hoses from the clamps on the air duct.

5. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the turbocharger air duct to the air filter housing.

6. Disconnect the air duct from the turbocharger and remove it together with the ventilation hose.

7. Remove the ventilation hose from the air duct.



Assembly


1. Secure the ventilation hose to the air duct.

2. Install the air duct and connect it to the turbocharger and air filter.

3. Connect the ventilation hose to the air filter.

4. Screw in the bolts securing the air duct to the air filter and tighten them to a torque of 8 N·m. Secure the vacuum hose in the clamps.

5. Install the air intake duct onto the air filter.

6. Reinstall the upper engine cover.

7. Install the upper engine cover.

8. Connect the negative battery terminal.
