Dismantling
1. Disconnect "negative" battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the connector from the low fuel pressure sensor.
3. Unscrew the Torx bolt and disconnect the latch securing the fuel pressure sensor to the fuel filter housing, remove the sensor from the housing.
CAUTION: Before disconnecting any part of the fuel system, thoroughly clean the surrounding area of dirt, dust and deposits to prevent foreign particles from entering the system.
4. Dispose of the fuel pressure sensor o-ring.
Assembly
1. Wipe the mating surfaces on the fuel filter and on the pressure sensor.
2. Wearing a new O-ring, insert the sensor into the filter housing, put on the clamping plate and tighten the mounting bolt. Tightening torque 6 Nm.
3. Attach "negative" battery terminal.
4. If a new sensor has been installed, reconfigure the control system using the TestBook/T4.
