Oil receiver with mesh filter (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Place the vehicle on a lift.

2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

3. Remove the lower part of the oil pan.

4. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the oil receiver with mesh filter to the oil pump, remove the oil receiver and dispose of the 2 O-ring seals.

Assembly

1. Wipe the oil receiver with mesh filter and mating surfaces.

2. Install a new O-ring into the recess and place the oil receiver on the oil pump.

3. Screw in and tighten the 2 bolts securing the oil receiver to the oil pump.

4. Install the lower part of the oil pan.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
