Brake fluid/clutch reservoir

1. Remove the auxiliary battery cover.
2. Make sure the brake/clutch fluid level is almost at the 'MAX' mark on the reservoir.; add liquid if necessary.
3. Clean the area around the filler cap of the tank, remove the cap.
4. If necessary, top up with the recommended fluid up to the 'MAX' mark on the reservoir. For further information, refer to Specifications (206-00 Brake System - General Information).
5. Replace the filler cap on the tank.
6. Install the auxiliary battery cover.
Power steering fluid reservoir

CAUTION: To avoid overfilling, check/top up the working fluid with the engine off and the system cold. Make sure the steering wheel is in the straight-ahead position, do not turn the steering wheel until the fluid level has been checked.
1. Make sure the fluid level is halfway between the 'MAX' and 'MIN' marks on the reservoir.; add liquid if necessary.
2. Clean the area around the filler cap of the tank, remove the cap.
3. If necessary, add the recommended fluid to the middle mark on the reservoir. For more information, refer to Specifications (211-02 Power Steering).
CAUTION: Do not add fluid above the 'MAX' mark.
4. Replace the filler cap on the tank.
Windshield washer reservoir

1. Remove the windshield washer reservoir filler cap.
2. Add a mixture of recommended washer fluid and water to the reservoir until it reaches the bottom of the filter mesh in the washer reservoir filler neck.
3. Replace the filler cap on the tank.
Engine oil and oil filter
CAUTION: For vehicles operated under severe conditions, the following maintenance operation should be performed every 3 months or 6,000 km.
ATTENTION: For vehicles running on fuel with a high (more than 0.7%) sulfur content, change the oil and filter NO LESS than every 3 months or 6,000 km.
ATTENTION: For vehicles running on fuel with an average (0.3-0.7%) sulfur content, change the oil and filter NO LESS than every 6 months or 12,000 km.

Transfer case

Differential units
1. Every 10 years or 240,000 km: Change the front differential oil. For more information, refer to Specifications (205-03 Front Drive Axle/Differential). For more information, see Differential Drainage and Filling (205-03 Front Drive Axle/Differential).
2. Every 5 years or 120,000 km: Change the Electronic Torque Management (ETM) rear differential oil. For more information, refer to Specifications (205-02 Rear Drive Axle/Differential). For more information, see Differential Drainage and Filling (205-02 Rear Drive Axle/Differential).
3. Every 10 years or 240,000 km: Change the oil of the rear differential of the "open" type. For more information, refer to Specifications (205-02 Rear Drive Axle/Differential). For more information, see Differential Drainage and Filling (205-02 Rear Drive Axle/Differential).
