Location and decoding of the VIN number of the car (Discovery 3)

The VIN number is indicated in three places:

1. Stamped on the side surface of the right longitudinal beam behind the front body support.
2. At the bottom of the windshield on the left side of the vehicle when viewed from the outside.
3. UK, Europe and Rest of World - except USA and Canada - On the VIN plate attached to the bonnet lock platform.
4. USA and Canada - On the tire specification/size plate on the front of the left B-pillar.
