Removal and installation the wing (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

2. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to procedure: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).

CAUTION: Mark the positions of the components to facilitate subsequent installation.

Installation

1. Install thread locks.

2. Install the wing edge trim.

3. Install the wing air intake grille.

4. Install the front fender. Tightening torque: 5 Nm

NOTE: These components should be installed in the original positions marked during removal.

5. Install the lower fender molding.

NOTE: These components should be installed in the original positions marked during removal.

6. Install the bumper trim mounting bracket.

7. Install the front bumper cover. Refer to procedure: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
