Removal and installation the wing splash guard (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.

2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove the fender splash guard extension panel.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. Install the tire pressure sensor antenna.

2. Install the fender splash guard and tighten the Torx screw to 6 Nm.

3. Install the fender splash guard extension panel.

4. Install the front wheel. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
