Rear side trim panel (Freelander 2)

Removal

2. Remove the cargo compartment threshold trim.



3. Remove the tailgate seal.










6. Release the rear door seal.





8. Remove the cargo area light (if equipped).



9. Remove the rear side trim panel.





10. Remove 7 clamps.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

11. Remove the access cover.

Installation

1. Install the access cover.

2. Install the clamps.

3. Install the rear side trim panel.

4. Install the cargo compartment light.

5. Install the cargo area sliding curtain.



6. Secure the rear door seal.

7. Install the retaining ring in the luggage compartment and tighten the Torx screw. Tightening torque: 25 Nm

8. Install the cargo compartment luggage rack.

9. Secure the tailgate seal.

10. Install the cargo compartment threshold trim.

11. Install the spare wheel cover.
