D-pillar trim panel (Freelander 2)

Removal

1. Remove the spare wheel cover.



2. Remove the cargo compartment threshold trim.



3. Remove the tailgate seal.



4. Remove the cargo compartment luggage rack.



5. Remove the retaining ring in the luggage compartment.





6. Release the rear side trim panel.



7. Remove the D-pillar trim panel.



8. Remove the speaker.

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. Install the speaker.

2. Install the D-pillar trim panel.

3. Secure the rear side trim panel.

4. Install the retaining ring in the luggage compartment and tighten the Torx screw. Tightening torque: 25 Nm

5. Install the cargo compartment luggage rack.

6. Install the tailgate seal.

7. Install the cargo compartment threshold trim.
