The mirrors are heated by heating elements glued to the rear of the mirror. The power supply for the mirror heating elements is provided by the control module of the corresponding door (driver or passenger) via the AJB.
The door control modules are powered by the AJB and are both connected to the ATC module via the medium speed CAN data bus. The ground terminal of each door control module completes the circuit. The ATC module automatically controls the heated mirror function when the ignition is in power mode 4 (accessory power) and in power mode 6 (ignition).
