NOTE: The inner "B" pillar panel is serviced as a separate weld-on panel.
Removal
1. When replacing the reinforcing element of the "B" pillar, the following elements are removed:
- Front door
- Back door
- Ceiling lining
- External panel of the "B" pillar
- Reinforcing element of the rack "B"
2. 3. Remove the B-pillar reinforcement. For more information, refer to: B-Pillar Reinforcement (501-29 Side Panel Sheet Metal Repairs, Removal and Installation).
4. Mill out the contact welding areas.

5. Separate the connections and remove the panel.
Installation
1. Prepare the mating surfaces of the old and new panels.
2. Drill holes in the new panel in preparation for MIG welding.

3. Place the new panel in the required location and secure it. Check the alignment of the position; if correct, proceed to the next step. If not, correct and recheck before continuing.
4. Perform electric rivet welding using MIG technology.

5. Clean all welds.
6. Installation of the corresponding panels and mechanical elements is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
