Removal


1. Remove both A-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: A-pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

2. Remove the upper trim panels from both B-pillars. Refer to procedure: Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

3. Remove both C-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: C-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

4. Remove both D-pillar upper trim panels. Refer to procedure: D-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

5. Remove the interior rearview mirror. Refer to procedure: Interior Rearview Mirror (501-09 Rearview Mirrors, Removal and Installation).

6. Remove both sun visors.

7. Remove the four passenger handrails.

8. Release the rear headliner.

11. Close the glass roof panel blind.

12. Carefully slide the glass roof panel curtain tube to the left. Remove the plastic pin from its place.



Do not allow the glass roof panel shade tube to rotate. Do not remove the metal pin from its position until the locking pin is in place.

  • Using a suitable pin (1mm diameter), lock the glass roof panel blind.
  • Remove the metal pin from its place.

Installation


1. Install the sliding legs of the glass roof panel blind into the guides.

2.
  • Secure the metal pin in place.
  • Remove the retaining pin from the glass roof panel blind.
  • Carefully slide the glass roof panel curtain tube to the left.
  • Align and secure the plastic pin in place.

CAUTION: Do not allow the glass roof panel shade tube to rotate while the plastic pin is locked in place.


3. Open the glass roof panel blind.

4. Secure the ceiling trim.

5. Secure the front door seals.

6. Secure the rear part of the headliner.

7. Install passenger handrails.

8. Install sun visors.

9. Install the interior rearview mirror. Refer to procedure: Interior Rearview Mirror (501-09 Rearview Mirrors, Removal and Installation).

10. Install the "D" pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: "D" Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

11. Install the C-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: C-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

12. Install the B-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: Upper B-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).

13. Install the A-pillar trim panels. Refer to procedure: A-Pillar Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).
