Sunroof Panel Malfunction Chart (Freelander 2)

Sunroof opening panel - noise during operation	Noise is heard when the sunroof panel is opening Lateral acoustic seals are displaced or damaged Front acoustic seals are displaced or damaged The glass seal is displaced or damaged The gutter is displaced or damaged The air deflector is displaced or damaged The electric motor for the opening panel of the sunroof is faulty	Go to PINPOINT TEST A.
One touch control - not working	Resetting the One-Touch Control Function on the Switch Initialization required	Go to PINPOINT TEST B.
Sunroof Opening Panel - Not Working	Doesn't close Doesn't open It doesn't rise Stuck/jammed in one position The electric motor for the opening panel of the sunroof is faulty	Go to PINPOINT TEST C.
Opening roof hatch panel - spontaneous rollback	Lateral acoustic seals are displaced or damaged Front acoustic seals are displaced or damaged The glass seal is displaced or damaged The gutter is displaced or damaged The air deflector is displaced or damaged The electric motor for the opening panel of the sunroof is faulty	`NOTE: Unintentional rollback refers to the accidental activation of the anti-pinch function` Go to PINPOINT TEST D.
Opening roof panel - curtain	Noise is heard when the sunroof opening panel curtain is operating There is no fixation Doesn't retract The handle is displaced	Go to PINPOINT TEST E.
Water ingress	Clogged drain pipes Seals are displaced Air deflector location	Go to PINPOINT TEST F.
Aerodynamic noise	Lateral acoustic seals are displaced or damaged Front acoustic seals are displaced or damaged The glass seal is displaced or damaged The gutter is displaced or damaged The air deflector is displaced or damaged	Go to PINPOINT TEST G.
Seals are loose or have shifted	Lateral acoustic seals are displaced or damaged Front acoustic seals are displaced or damaged The glass seal is displaced or damaged The gutter is displaced or damaged The air deflector is displaced or damaged	Go to PINPOINT TEST H.
