Removal
1. Raise the vehicle. Remove the wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and Tire (204-04 Wheels and Tires, Removal and Installation).
WARNING: Ensure that the vehicle is supported securely.

CAUTION: Use new bolts.
NOTE: Use an additional key to prevent the element from turning.

CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.

5. Remove the brake caliper housing.
Installation
1. Clean the brake caliper body and backing plate with a special brake cleaning fluid.
WARNING: Do not use compressed air to clean brake components. Dust from friction materials is harmful if inhaled.
2. Install the brake caliper.
3. Connect the brake hose to the brake caliper. Tightening torque: 30 Nm

4. Insert the upper brake caliper bolt. Tightening torque: 30 Nm
5. Install two clamps.
6. Install the brake pads.
7. Insert the lower brake caliper bolt. Tightening torque: 30 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure the brake hose is not kinked and is installed correctly.
8. Install the wheel and tire. Refer to the procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
9. Bleed the brake system. Refer to procedure: Bleeding the Brake System (206-00 Brake System - General Information, General Procedures).
