Removing
1. Raise the vehicle. Remove the wheel. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.

CAUTION: Use new bolts.
NOTE: Use an additional wrench to prevent the element from rotating.

CAUTION: Use new bolts.
NOTE: Use an additional wrench to prevent the element from rotating.
4.
CAUTION: Plug all openings. Use new caps.
5. Remove the brake caliper housing.
Installation
1. Clean the brake caliper housing and base plate with special brake cleaner.
WARNING: Do not use compressed air to clean brake parts. Dust from friction materials is harmful when it enters the lungs.
2. Install the brake caliper.
3. Attach the brake hose to the brake caliper. Tightening torque: 30 Nm
4. Insert the top brake caliper bolt. Tightening torque: 30 Nm
5. Install two clamps.
6. Install the brake pads.
7. Insert the lower brake caliper bolt. Tightening torque: 30 Nm
CAUTION: Make sure the brake hose is not kinked and is properly installed.
8. Install wheel with tire. Refer to procedure: Wheel and tire (204-04 Wheels and tires, Removal and installation).
9. Remove air from the brake system. Refer to Procedure: Bleeding the Brake System (206-00 Brake System - General Information, General Procedures).
