Removal
1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the wheel.
3.
CAUTION: The brake pad wear indicator sensor is very easy to damage. Do not use a lever to remove the sensor. The operation must be performed manually.
Right side only: Disconnect the brake pad wear indicator sensor.
4. Remove the lower brake caliper bolt.

5. Remove the brake pads.
- Rotate the brake caliper upward.
- Remove the two clamps.

6. Remove the upper brake caliper bolt.

7.
CAUTION: Do not allow the caliper to hang by the brake hose.
Move the caliper to the side and tie it up.
8. Remove the brake caliper support bracket.

9. Remove the guide pins and seals.

Installation
1.
CAUTION: Do not use compressed air to clean brake components. Dust from friction materials is harmful if inhaled.
Clean the brake caliper housing and support bracket with brake components cleaner.
2. Clean and lubricate the guide pins.
3. Install the guide pins.
4. Install the support bracket. Tighten the bolts. (tightening torque 115 Nm).
5. Install the brake caliper housing and insert the top bolt. Tighten the bolt. (tightening torque 35 Nm).
6. Install the brake pads. Install 2 clamps.
7. Turn the brake caliper down. Tighten the bolt. (tightening torque 35 Nm).
8. Connect the brake pad wear indicator sensor.
9. Install the wheel. Tighten the wheel nuts. (tightening torque 140 Nm).
