Differential housing rear support bushing (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.

CAUTION: Do not work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with safety stands.

2. Install the LRT-51-013 centering tool to set the differential position.



3. Remove the bolt securing the differential housing support to the subframe.

4. Remove the 2 bolts securing the differential to the support.

5. Remove the support.

Installation

1. Install the differential housing support.

2. Screw in the support mounting bolts to the differential housing and tighten them to a torque of 65 Nm.

3. Screw in the support mounting bolt to the subframe and tighten it to a torque of 120 Nm.

4. Remove the LRT-51-013 tooling.



5. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
