Differential housing front support bushing (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Remove the left support.

REAR AXLE AND FINAL GEAR, REPAIR WORK, Differential housing rear support bushing.

2. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the right support to the differential housing.

3. Remove the 2 bolts securing the differential to the front support.



4. Screw in the front subframe support mounting bolt.

5. Move the differential away from the support and remove the front support.

Installation

1. Move the differential away from the support and install the front support.



2. Using the LRT-51-013 tool, position the differential housing correctly.



3. Screw in the support mounting bolt to the subframe and tighten it to a torque of 120 Nm.

4. Screw in the bolt securing the front support to the differential housing and tighten it to a torque of 65 Nm.

5. Tighten the right support mounting bolts to a torque of 65 Nm.

6. Install the left support.
