Removal


CAUTION: Make sure the bushing is positioned correctly.


NOTE: Remember the position of the bushing.

1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.


Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the front wheels.

3. Install the front differential. For more information, refer to Axle Assembly (54.10.01)

4.
NOTE: Remember the position of the bushing.


Using special tools, remove the front axle housing support cushion.

Using special tools, remove the front axle housing support cushion.


Installation


1.
CAUTION: Make sure the bushing is positioned correctly.


Using special tools, install the front axle housing support cushion into place.

Using special tools, install the front axle housing support cushion into place.


2. Install the front differential. For more information, refer to Axle Assembly (54.10.01)

3. Install the front wheels. Tighten the wheel nuts. (tightening torque 140 Nm).
