NOTE: If a new instrument cluster is to be fitted, a Land Rover approved diagnostic system must be connected to the vehicle and the instrument cluster replacement procedure must be followed. This will ensure that the new instrument cluster is correctly coded with the vehicle information and current service interval.
NOTE: The removal procedure descriptions in this manual may contain installation steps.
1. Secure the SRS system. Refer to the procedure: Standard Workshop Procedure (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
2. Remove the driver lower air bag module. Refer to procedure: Driver Lower Air Bag Module (501-20B Supplemental Restraint System, Removal and Installation).
3. Remove the keyless start control module trim cover.
NOTE: Right hand drive version shown, left hand drive version similar.

4. Remove the lower steering column cover.

5. Move the steering column to its lowest position.

7. Remove the instrument panel frame.
NOTE: Use extreme caution when releasing the clamps.

8. Remove the three Torx screws.

Installation
1. Install the elements back in place in reverse order.
