The vehicle antenna system consists of:
- AM/FM Antennas on Glass or AM/FM Diversity Reception System
- FM diversity antenna
- GPS Antenna (if available)
- SDARS antenna (NAS only) (roof mounted NAS only) or DAB antenna (if available, roof mounted)
- VICS Beacon Antenna (Japan only)
- Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB) antenna (located on the side window or roof suspension, depending on the system)
The AM/FM antenna is etched into the surface of the right side window glass. The antenna is equipped with an amplifier, which is located directly above the window. Different amplifiers are used, depending on the version of the infotainment system installed in the car. High-end systems use a more powerful amplifier for diversity tuning.
The rear window contains 2 FM antennas and a VICS/TMC antenna etched into the glass. The 2 FM antennas are used in a diversity system with the appropriate antenna amplifiers.
The antenna on the left window is used to receive DAB III signals.
NOTE: The telephone control module has a Bluetooth antenna. It is built into the module and is not serviced separately.
