Satellite communication system radio receiver (Freelander 2)

NOTE: The removal procedure description may contain installation steps.

Removal

1. Remove the left rear quarter trim panel. Refer to procedure: Rear Quarter Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim, Removal and Installation).



3. Tightening torque: 10 Nm

Ensure that fiber optic cables are not bent with a radius of less than 25 mm. Clean the optical connectors from foreign material.

4. Tightening torque: M5 6 Nm. M6 10 Nm

NOTE: Do not perform further disassembly if the component is removed only for access.

Installation

1. When installing, perform the removal procedure in reverse order.

2. If a new component is to be fitted, configure it using Land Rover approved diagnostic equipment.
