WARNING: When jacking up the front of the vehicle, always place wheel chocks under the rear wheels of the vehicle.
Apply the parking brake. Move the automatic transmission selector to the 'P' - Park position. Move the manual transmission lever to the 'N' - Neutral position.
Place the jacking pad under the jacking point at the rear of the front subframe, pos. 3.
Once the vehicle is raised to the desired height, carefully lower the jack until the vehicle rests on the support(s), pos. 1 or 2.
WARNING: Do not work from underneath a jacked vehicle unless axle stands have been installed in the designated areas.
CAUTION: To prevent damage, place a suitable block under the threshold.
To remove the vehicle from the stands, perform the above operations in reverse order.
