Using a jack (Freelander 2)

Before jacking up your vehicle, carefully read the "Towing and Jacking Your Vehicle" section of this manual.

Raise the vehicle only when it is on a level surface. Apply the parking brake and place wheel chocks under the wheels. Raise the vehicle only by the designated areas of the body. Make sure that the lifting device is rated for the weight of the vehicle.

WARNING: Never work on a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle with special stands.
