Dismantling
1. Remove the brake fluid reservoir.
BRAKE SYSTEM, REPAIR WORK, Brake system reservoir.

2. Disconnect the brake lines.
CAUTION: Always plug the fittings and holes to protect the system from dirt.
3. Unscrew and remove the two nuts securing the master brake cylinder to the vacuum booster.
4. Remove and discard the sealing ring.
Assembly
1. Clean the mating surfaces of the master cylinder and vacuum booster.
2. Install a new O-ring onto the master cylinder.
3. Align the push rod with the master cylinder and install the cylinder onto the vacuum booster.
4. Install new master cylinder mounting nuts and tighten them to 26 Nm.
5. Clean the connection points of the brake pipes and pipe ends.
6. Connect the brake pipes to the brake master cylinder and tighten the union nuts to a torque of 14 N·m.
7. Install the brake fluid reservoir back into place.
