Observe absolute cleanliness when handling these elements. If brake fluid comes into contact with the paintwork, immediately rinse the affected area with cold water.

Removing
All vehicles
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.
2. Remove the brake fluid reservoir. Refer to Procedure: Brake Fluid Reservoir (206-06 Hydraulic brake, Removal and installation).
Right-hand drive vehicles
3. Tightening torque: 10 Nm
NOTE: The torque value applies to the bolt only.
All vehicles
4. Tightening torque: 15 Nm
Prepare to collect spilled liquid. Plug all openings.
5. Tightening torque: 26 Nm
Prepare to collect spilled liquid. The seal should only be reused if it is not damaged.
Installation
When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
