Removing

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
WARNING: Place secure stands under the vehicle.
Left-hand drive vehicles
2. Remove the battery. Refer to procedure: Battery (414-01 Battery, battery mount and wires, Removal and installation).
Right-hand drive vehicles
3. Remove the collection chamber panel. Refer to Procedure: Mixing Chamber (412-01 Climate control, Removal and installation).
All vehicles
4. Tightening torque: 6 Nm
CAUTION: Be prepared to collect spilled liquid.
Manual transmission vehicles

Installation
All vehicles
1. When installing, follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Remove air from the brake system. Refer to Procedure: Bleeding the Brake System (206-00 Brake System - General Information, General Procedures).
Manual transmission vehicles
3. Remove air from the hydraulic clutch. Refer to Procedure: Bleeding Clutch System (308-00 Manual Transmission / Transaxle Transmission and Clutch - General Information, General Procedures).
