Current collector of the primary shaft speed sensor (Range Rover 3)

Dismantling

1. Remove the automatic transmission filter.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - GM 5L40-E, REPAIR WORK, Filter - automatic transmission working fluid.

2. Disconnect the connector block from the speed sensor.

3. Remove the screw securing the sensor to the automatic transmission housing.

4. Remove the speed sensor.

Assembly

1. Clean the speed sensor and mating surface.

2. Install the speed sensor into the automatic transmission housing, tighten the screw and tighten it to 10 Nm.

3. Connect the connector to the speed sensor.

4. Install the automatic transmission filter.
