Primary shaft seal GETRAG (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the release bearing.

CLUTCH, REPAIR WORK, Clutch assembly/driven disc and clutch release bearing (release bearing) - Td4.

3. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the release bearing sleeve.



4. Remove the release bearing sleeve and discard the O-ring.

Installation

1. Clean the bearing and mating surfaces.

2. Install the release bearing sleeve with a new O-ring and tighten the mounting bolts to 12 Nm.

3. Install the release bearing.

CLUTCH, REPAIR WORK, Clutch assembly/driven disc and clutch release bearing (release bearing) - Td4.

4. Connect the negative battery terminal.
