Reversing light switch GETRAG (Freelander 1)

Dismantling

1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the lower engine guard.

EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORK, Lower engine protection shield.

3. Disconnect the connector from the reverse light switch.

4. Remove the switch from the gearbox.

Installation

1. Clean the reverse light switch and the mating surface of the transmission.

2. Install the switch on the gearbox and tighten the mounting bolt to 24 Nm.

3. Connect the electrical connector.

4. Reinstall the lower engine guard.

5. Connect the negative battery terminal.
