Operating procedure
1. Place the car on a lift.
2. Remove the lower engine protection.
EXTERIOR PARTS, REPAIR WORKS, Engine lower shield.
3. Place a container under the gearbox to collect the gear oil.
4. Clean the area around the fill/level plug and oil drain plug.
CAUTION: Be careful when draining fluid, which can be very hot.
5. Remove the filler/control plug.
6. Remove the drain plug.
7. Let the oil drain completely.
Filling
1. Clean the fill/level plug and drain plug.
2. Install a new washer on the drain plug and tighten the plug to 35 Nm.
3. Through the filling/level control hole, fill the gearbox with the correct grade of oil. Oil must be filled up to the bottom cut of the hole. It is necessary to give the oil some time to equalize the level throughout the box.
FILLING CAPACITIES, LIQUIDS AND OILS, Lubrication system.
4. Install a new sealing washer on the filler/inspection plug and tighten the plug to 35 Nm.
5. Reinstall the lower motor guard.

6. Lower the car.
