The switch is located on the gear shift lever housing. Access from underneath the vehicle.
Removal
1. Place the car on a lift.
2. Disconnect the battery.
3. Disconnect the wires from the switch.
4. Loosen the locknut.
5. Unscrew the switch.
Installation
6. Engage reverse gear.
7. Connect the test lamp and power supply (12V) to the switch terminals.

8. After screwing the switch into the housing until the lamp lights up, turn the switch another half turn and tighten the lock nut.
9. Connect the reverse light wires.
