General information
The electronic control unit provides self-diagnosis of the system.
When a malfunction occurs, the "check engine" indicator lights up on the instrument panel.
If the sensors fail, the electronic control unit switches to emergency mode, which is sufficient to take the vehicle to a repair shop.
The fault codes can be read using the appropriate diagnostic device connected to the diagnostic connector 1.
The location of the diagnostic connector is shown in the engine compartment diagram.
