Removal


1.
CAUTION: Never work on a vehicle supported solely by a jack. Always support the vehicle securely.


Raise and support the vehicle.



2. Remove the wheel.

3. Remove and discard the axle shaft seal. For more information, refer to Rear Axle Shaft (11/47/01)

Installation


1. Using the special tools, install the new axle shaft bearing.

3. Install the wheel and tire. Tighten the wheel nuts to a torque of 140 Nm.
