Dismantling
1. Raise the rear of the vehicle.
WARNING: Do not work under a vehicle that is only supported by a jack. Always install safety props.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the nut and bolt securing the trailing arm to the rear wheel hub. Do not discard the spacer that is located under the bolt head.
4. Remove the trailing arm from the hub and attach to the side.
5. Using tool LRT-64-002, remove the trailing arm silent block from the hub.
Installation
1. Make sure the silent block hole is clean.
2. Using tool LRT-64-002, press the new silent block into the hub.
3. Align trailing arm with hub. Install the bolt and nut, but do not completely tighten them yet.
4. Place a jack under the rear wheel hub.
WARNING: While tightening the nuts and bolts, the weight of the vehicle must be supported by the suspension.
5. Install the spacer washer and bolt and nut on the trailing arm. Tighten them with a torque of 120 Nm.
6. Replace the wheel (wheels) and tighten the nuts to a torque of 115 Nm.
7. Remove props and lower the car.
8. Check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
