Dismantling
1. Remove both drive shafts.
DRIVE SHAFTS, REPAIR WORK, Left shaft with outer and inner joints.
DRIVE SHAFTS, REPAIR WORK, Right shaft with outer and inner joints.

2. Apply alignment marks to the rear propeller shaft to facilitate subsequent assembly.
3. Unscrew the 4 nuts and remove the bolts securing the propeller shaft to the main gear pinion flange. Disconnect the propeller shaft and secure it to the side.

4. Press the retaining ring and disconnect the breather tube from the final drive housing.
5. Place a jack under the subframe assembly.

6. Unscrew the 2 bolts securing the parking brake cable clamps to the subframe.
7. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the subframe to the body.
8. With the help of a partner lowering the jack down, slide the subframe around the exhaust pipe and remove it from the car.
NOTE: If disassembly was performed only to provide access to other system components, no further disassembly operations should be performed.

9. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the final drive supports to the subframe and remove the final drive assembly.

10. Loosen the 6 bolts securing the supports to the final drive housing.
Installation

1. Install the guide device LRT-51-013, designed for mounting the main gear.
2. Install the final drive assembly.
3. Tighten the bolts securing the final drive supports to the subframe and tighten them to a torque of 120 Nm.
4. Tighten the front bolts to 65 Nm.
5. Tighten the rear bolts to 65 Nm.
6. Remove the LRT-51-013 device.
7. With the help of a partner, attach the subframe to the body and find the places where it is attached.
8. Tighten the subframe mounting bolts to 190 Nm.
9. Connect the parking brake cables, tighten the bolts and tighten them to 22 Nm.
10. Connect the breather tube.
11. Bring the cardan shaft to the final drive and align its position according to the marks.
12. Tighten the nuts and bolts securing the propeller shaft to the flange of the main gear drive pinion and tighten them to a torque of 65 Nm.
13. Reinstall the drive shafts.

14. Check and, if necessary, adjust the rear wheel alignment.
