Dismantling
1. Remove both drive shafts.
DRIVE SHAFTS, REPAIR WORKS, Left shaft with external and internal joints.
DRIVE SHAFTS, REPAIR WORKS, Right shaft with external and internal hinges.
2. Put mounting marks on the rear propeller shaft to facilitate subsequent assembly.
3. Turn away 4 nuts and remove bolts of fastening of a cardan shaft to a flange of a leading gear wheel of the main transfer. Disconnect the cardan shaft and secure it to the side.
4. Press a lock ring and disconnect a breather tube from a case of the main transfer.
5. Place a jack under the subframe assembly.
6. Turn away 2 bolts of fastening of collars of cables of parking brake system to a subframe.
7. Turn away 4 bolts of fastening of a stretcher to a body.
8. With the help of a partner lowering the jack down, pass the subframe around the exhaust pipe and remove it from the car.
NOTE: If disassembly was carried out only to provide access to other elements of the system, then further disassembly operations should not be performed.
9. Turn away 3 bolts of fastening of support of the main transfer to a stretcher and remove the main transfer in gathering.
10. Loosen the 6 bolts securing the supports to the final drive housing.
Installation
1. Install the guide LRT-51-013, designed for mounting the final drive.
2. Install final drive assembly.
3. Wrap bolts of fastening of support of the main transfer to a stretcher and tighten them with the moment of 120 Нм.
4. Tighten the front bolts to 65 Nm.
5. Tighten the rear bolts to 65 Nm.
6. Remove the LRT-51-013 device.
7. With the help of a partner, attach the subframe to the body and find its attachment points.
8. Wrap bolts of fastening of a subframe and tighten them with the moment of 190 Nanometers.
9. Connect the cables of the parking brake system, wrap the bolts and tighten them with a torque of 22 Nm.
10. Connect the breather tube.
11. Bring the cardan shaft to the main gear and align its position with the marks.
12. Wrap the nuts and bolts securing the cardan shaft to the flange of the final drive pinion gear and tighten them to a torque of 65 Nm.
13. Reinstall the drive shafts.

14. Check up and, if it is necessary, adjust a convergence of back wheels.
