Headlamps — pair — light adjustment — up to 04MY (Freelander 1)

Examination

1. Align the test equipment with the headlight.

2. Turn on the headlights. Headlight adjustment:

• For all countries except USA and Canada: Headlights must be adjusted so that the light beams are parallel to each other and 1.2% below horizontal.
• For US models Headlights must be adjusted so that the light beams are parallel to each other and 0.4% below horizontal.

Adjustment

1. Adjust the headlight position using a 6mm Allen key.

2. Rotate the hexagonal head screw "ANvp" to adjust in the vertical plane.

3. For all countries except USA and Canada: Turn the Allen screw to adjust the horizontal plane.

4. Align the headlight adjuster with the second headlight.

5. Adjust the second headlight as described above.

6. Turn off the headlights and remove the headlight adjuster.
